A photo of Vittal, Narada muni, Namdev and bhagavathas taking food at Chokamela’s house…

Chokamela belonged to the Harijan caste. He was not allowed inside the temple. But Vittal has himself taken Chokamela inside his temple.

Every Dwadashi after the Ekadshi day, Vittal would go to Chokamela’s house on the other side of the river to take his foos there!!!

One time, in Chokamela’s village, Mangalaved, while he was building a wall, a lot of people there including Santh Chokamela got burnt in a fire accident.

All were wondering how to even find the remains of his body for doing final rites. 

Maharaj picked up the bones one by one and kept in his ears. He identified parts of Chokamela’s body by listening to the “Vittal Vittal” chanting done by the ashes and bones of the Santh Chokamela….

This Samadhi was built using the ashes and bones thus identified by Namadev…

May we all get bhakthi like the great Santh…

He proved that Vittal is common for all, irrespective of caste or creed…
