The holy rock where Santh Tukaram Maharaj sat without food or water and did Dhyanam and Namajapam continuously for 13 days…

Tukaram Maharaj's Abhangs were criticized as against the Sastras by Rameshwara Bhatt. He scolds Tukaram and orders him to throw away all the Abhangs into the Indrayani river. 

After throwing away all of it, Tukaram Maharaj sits on that rock and goes into dhyanam for 13 days. On the 14th day, all those manuscripts of Abhang rise to the top of the river and begin to float!!! 

Here, the lord appears as Bala Krishna to Santh Tukaram Maharaj…

There used to be a Bala Krishna moorthy before. Later, Radha Krishna deities have been installed here…

The spot which protected and gave us back, Tukaram Maharaj’s Abhangs…

Even the darshan of this holy spot will bring us the blessing to learn and sing Abhangs…
