Santh Dhamaji Panth was working as a revenue inspector- collecting money from public and handing over to the King.

During a severe famine, Dhamaji gives away all the grains in the government godown for all the public. King orders his arrest. 

While on the way to the jail accompanied by the King’s guards, Dhamaji requests permission to have darshan of Vittal in Pandharpur. 

At that time, Vittal takes the form of his servant “Vittu Nayak” and goes to the King. He pays all the money for the government grains and also gives a letter in the handwriting of Santh Dhamaji to the King. 

Later , when Santh comes to know of Vittals’ grace, he decides to spend the rest of his life in Pandharpur with Vittal and Rukumai…
