Footprints of Radha-Krishna's lotus feet 

The light coloured footprint of Radhika's feet along with the darker footprint of Krishna, mingling with one another.

One foot is of Radha's and one is of Krishna's. They signify the oneness of souls of Radhakrishna, although they are in 2 bodies.

The place where Radha rani was weighed in a balance to give wealth to a brahmin for his daughter's marriage

Shri Radha dhan Bihari ji temple

When Radhika rani was playing with sakis in swing, a bhramman was waling along the way crying, when Radhika rani asked the reason, he said, he needed wealth to get his daughter married. So Radha rani offered lots of jewels, still she was not satisfied. So being the Mahalakshim’s swaroopam she offered to come and live with the bhramman. The bhramman then said it would be difficult for him to get her married to someone too!

Lalitha and Viska brought a balance and had Radhika rani sit on one side and filled the other side with lots of jewels and new clothes for the bhramman. This is the place where Radhika rani donated lots of wealth to the bhramman. Hence the name Dhan ghad..

Let us have a balance in our hearts with Radha on one end and Krishna on the other!

Raval Gareel trees 

The trees that grow on the roof of the temple. 

The trees without roots.

The trees that are Radha & Krishna themselves.

View at the top of temple… There are two trees here called Gareel trees. A bhakthar named Raskhan does penance under the this tree praying to Radhika rani to reveal her birth place.. Radhika rani said “I was born under this very tree you did penance” and asks Raskhan to cut that tree and take the beautiful Radha Krishna murthy buried underneath the tree. That Radha Krishna murthy is established andworshipped in this temple. After establishing the deities, two gareel trees reappeared without any roots. One tree is believed to be Krishna and other to be Radhe! The trees have thorns and produce small red flowers.

Beautiful Radhe is in a cradle made by her mother Keerthi rani… 

Lets swing Radhika rani’s cradle…

Here, when Radhika rani was lying in the cradle, Krishna came to see her… She could sense Krishna’s scent, She got mesmerized. Krishna said “Radheeee” and Radhe said “Krishnaaa”.

Radhika rani opened her eyes for the first time and saw her beloved Krishna.

This is the place where the divine couple blessed the whole world.

This place is a beautiful garden…. The place where Radha and Krishna first met…

Once a dutch ship was passing by was unable to move forward. The ship’s captain prays to Varkala Janardhana Swamy.

The captain and vice captain gave a bell to the temple thanking the Lord.
