When Embar Govindar bathes in Ganga, he gets this Shivalinga in his hand…

Yaadavaprakasha says: Your Ganga snanam (holy dip) has been fulfilled; Gangadharan has himself come to your hands…

Embar Govindhar brings this Shiva lingam from there and installs it here in Madhuramangalam…

Even today this Lord Shiva is blessing everyone by being “Ullam kai kuLirnda Naayanaar”

Later from here, he goes to Kalahasthi to do services to the Lord there. And even later, by the grace of Periya Thirumalai Nambi, Embar Govindar returns to Sri Vaishnavism. And he becomes the shadow of Ramanuja’s holy feet…
